How much do lessons cost?
1/2 Hour Lessons: $45 per session, or $175 for a pack of 4 lessons.
1 Hour Lessons: $80 per session or $315 for a pack of 4 lessons.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule my lesson?
Lessons must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If a lesson is not canceled within this timeframe, the student is responsible for the full payment, regardless of the reason for cancellation. To cancel/reschedule your lesson login to your account here.
Do I have to have an instrument to take lessons?
Yes, you must bring your own instrument. If you don’t have one, we’re happy to recommend nearby Music Stores, contact us for more information.
Do I need to know how to read music to take lessons?
No, you don’t need to know how to read music to take lessons! We welcome students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Do you offer NYSSMA preparation lessons?
Yes. All our instructors are qualified to thoroughly explain what NYSSMA is, why it is an important part of music education, and exactly what to expect when you get there. The student will be prepared and set at ease for the real experience.
Do you offer recitals?
Yes. We have bi-annual recitals each year with performances by students who are taking lessons at that time. Sign up is open to all students taking lessons, pending instructor approval.
